Every two years Denman Island opens its garden gates for a rare close-up look at the passion Denman residents pour into their properties! Mark your calendar for this Tour, long considered one of BC's top horticultural events, running May 7th and 8th 2011.All proceeds go to the Denman Conservancy Association, a Registered Charity which, with the support of this tour has protected over 700 acres of Denman Island.
After a morning of exploring homes and gardens head to the heart of Denman's Village for a freshly prepared meal at the Community Hall. Look for me on the porch, I will be selling my seasonal cookbook 'For the Love of Food' with a donation of every sale to the Denman Conservancy Association.
